Our young daughter had a scary fall. After emergency care said she checked out ok, I still wanted to get imaging and another set of eyes on her to make... read more sure nothing was missed and her precious little spine was healthy. I called six chiro offices looking for one that would see kids under two, could take xrays on site, accepted our insurance or had reasonable cash pay rates, and could see her within a couple days. I also have to "feel right" about the medical care. Ascend hit all the marks. I try not to be cynical, but I'll be honest, based on my past experiences with chiropractors, I came to the appointment bracing myself for either a high-pressure sales pitch or to be essentially dismissed as concerned about nothing. But Dr Chaz was so cool. Pretty sure he could tell we were nervous. He was so patient with our daughter. He's a dad, he gets it. He's good at his job, but I observed this is more than just a job to him. He's connected to his higher purpose and wants to serve people who are hurting. Thorough care without the sales. Calm, compassionate, confident, uplifting. I can't recommend Dr Chaz highly enough. Very thankful.
